Weddings

To photograph a wedding is a privilege. To capture the essence of the couple and the day is the goal. To do that, it helps to get to know you. When a bunch of happy and caring people get together for a life time event, there's lots going on! I try to see and photograph all of it, the spontaneous as well as the formal.

Sports

Sporting events and weddings have key elements in common. There are often no second chances, and things happen fast. If an athlete is crossing the goal line, my "goal" is to capture his/her effort and the emotion that goes with it. Some of the better shots come after the homerun. One of my favorite photos is of a coach who just lost a championship game and his wife comes out of the stands with a big kiss for him. I have photographed a wide array of sports at all levels.

Portraits

Family, business, graduation, or any occasion important to you, is important to me. I especially like a session where we take the shot you expected, and then I disappear to give you the shots that are created by your environment and what you experience. Most people express themselves best when they forget about the camera. When it's all said, the photos tell the story.
